Our Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to the program, change of venue, change to distance learning and the possibility to cancel planned course/program/conference up to 14 daysbefore the start date. All participants will then be notified in writing.
All cancellations must be made in writing and it is important that you notify us as soon as possible! We follow Almega training companies’ recommendations for cancellations/rebookings on our open course/program:
- Cancellation/rebooking can be made free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the training.
- If cancelled/rescheduled 29-15 calendar days before the start of the training, 50% of the participation fee will be charged.
- In case of cancellation/rebooking 14-0 calendar days before the start of the training, the full participation fee will be charged.
In case of cancellation due to illness, the participation fee, with the exception of any fee for conference packages, can be refunded upon submission of a medical certificate. This also applies in the event of illness/death of a close relative.
Transfer of place
In the event of an impediment, the place can always be transferred to another person in the same company. We will then need a written cancellation notice as well as your colleague’s name, position, telephone number and email address.
In the event of cancellation of a course/program/conference
In the event of a cancelled event, the fee paid will be refunded. Compensation is not paid for any travel or accommodation costs.
Payment
Invoicing takes place in the same month as the course/program/conference is held. Payment must be made as agreed, but no later than 30 days from the invoice date. If the payment deadline is exceeded, the company has the right to charge late payment interest from the due date at the applicable reference rate plus eight percentage points.
Prices and cost of conference packages
if otherwise is not mentioned in the course/program/conference contract, all prices are exclusive of VAT. The cost of lunch and coffee is added with SEK 450 per day on course/programs and conferences that are carried out physically in the premises.
As proof that you have taken a course/program with us, you will receive a course/program certificate.
Documentation
Most of AlBirunia’s courses/programs and conferences include course/program documentation in the form of, for example, handouts, power-points, exercises, etc. After the course/program or conference has been completed, the participant may use the material for his/her own use, but is not entitled to copy it, distribute it to third parties or use it for commercial purposes.
Audio and video recording
It is not allowed to record audio or video during AlBirunia’s course/programs and conferences.
Conference rooms Our
conferences are held in different rooms, always adapted to each conference. The conference facilities are always centrally located in Stockholm or Gothenburg. Information about premises can be found on our website.
Hotel booking
You are responsible for booking a hotel yourself if booking is not confirmed in the course/program contract.
Force Majeure
AlBirunia is not responsible for damage that is due to government action, strikes, blockades, lockouts or other similar circumstances that are beyond our control.
We are also not responsible for damage in cases where training has to be completely or partially canceled due to lecturer’s acute illness and where a suitable replacement could not be engaged.
